The tactical shield is a mobile protective tool for immediate deployment in crisis situations. Unlike passive protection such as a ballistic vest, it lets the operator actively cover against the current threat. Rated against most common handgun calibres and kept light and mobile, it is intended for police, intervention units and security forces. The panel is made from special high-alloy armoured steel — extreme hardness and toughness, resistance to penetration and deformation, and long-term stability with no degradation.

The advantages over a vest are clear: the shield deploys in seconds with no preparation and covers a far larger part of the body — including the head and upper limbs. Cover can be adjusted to the direction of the threat, bracing it against the ground or a solid object improves shooting accuracy, and it works even where no fixed cover exists. It combines easily with vehicles, walls and other ballistic barriers.

Against an attacker with no cover a decisive asymmetry appears: the protected operator exposes only a minimal part of the body, while the opponent stays fully exposed — a significant tactical advantage, especially under centre-mass fire. Further benefits include separating the impact from the body (reduced blunt trauma), staying operational after a hit, use inside a vehicle (side and rear protection) and the option of secondary carry on the back.

Unlike composites, the steel does not age, stores well long-term and keeps stable protective properties even under repeated impact, with no weakening of the edges. Test samples are supplied with every product so you can verify the properties and test them yourself.
