The military shield raises ballistic resistance against most long guns (rifles) in a structurally reinforced design, for demanding combat conditions — with the option of an individual resistance specification. Like the tactical variant it allows active cover according to the threat and is built from high-alloy armoured steel.

It deploys in seconds and covers a far larger part of the body than a vest, including the head and upper limbs. Cover adapts to the direction of the threat, bracing it against the ground or a solid object improves accuracy, and protection is available even where there is no fixed cover. It can be combined with vehicles, walls and other ballistic barriers.

Against an attacker with no cover the protected operator gains a decisive asymmetry — exposing only a minimal part of the body while the opponent stays fully exposed. Added to this are separation of the impact from the body (reduced blunt trauma), staying operational after a hit, use inside a vehicle (side and rear protection) and the option of secondary carry on the back.

Unlike composite materials, the steel does not degrade even under repeated impact and keeps its resistance at the edges; it ages minimally and stores well long-term. Test samples are supplied with every product so you can verify the properties and test them yourself.
